What do you do when you’re allergic to all the tasty treats you dream of? Make your own! I’m sorry to be blowing your mind with this delicious recipe in the midst of having to stay home. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been snacking and indulging in a few more treats than you’re maybe used to. Trust me, the recipe I found is worth it and it’s super simple.
Modifications :
-Option to use your preferred milk of choice – I chose almond milk
-Instead of dark chocolate chips I used dairy-free chocolate chips
-topping : blackberries crushed and stirred on the stove first
-I did not have any little jars so I got creative with what I had! Mini wine glasses. (At least I got to re-use my friend’s wedding favour).
I do not consider myself a baker or dessert maker extraordinaire but this recipe really was quick and easy. The longest part was waiting a few hours for them to be ready. Crucial advice? Have a full stomach while making these or you will end up eating it all before it even hits the fridge! I may or may not have licked the bowl and spatula dry. Get creative with the toppings and some people would probably love it with whipped cream.
Happy chocolate mousse making friends!
