Eating. It’s an experience you either enjoy or don’t. It’s something you savour or, for some, it’s a necessary chore. Personally and especially in my adulthood, I have always enjoyed the experience of having a tasty meal. My appetite is large and missing a meal is super rare. Having a busy schedule – full-time work, fitness, and now motherhood – quick, tasty recipes are always on my radar. Although I love a well-cooked meal, cooking has never been something that I would say I enjoy. Cleaning up afterwards is even worse! If I can cook a delicious meal in a reasonable amount of time, it’s a definite WIN.
The “Recipes On The Go” section will share recipes that I find and recommend. I will let you know how each recipe turns out and any changes that I make to it. Feel free to comment and share some great ones with me!
First up? Energy / Lactation bites. I originally looked up this recipe to help with milk supply but it’s quickly become a yummy snack. I just mixed the ingredients by hand rather than with a mixer as recommended. It’s super easy and clean up is quick. I highly recommend trying these! Modifications :
-gluten-free oats
-flaxseed or any seed – I’ve tried it with flaxseed as well as sunflower seeds
-I did not include brewer’s yeast
